EDITOR:My comment is about one of Iron Mountain-Kingsford's most valuable exports - Dr. Ted Fornetti and his wife.
I work at Menards in Escanaba. They were there shopping.
I went to school with their son, Dr. John Fornetti at Immaculate Conception Grade School on the north side.
Anyway, to make a long story short, when the Fornettis figured out who I was after 40 years, they complimented my mom and treated me like a family member.
Come to find out they have been married 67 years. What awesome people.
Makes me proud to have come from Iron Mountain.
