Pool:League meetings
IRON MOUNTAIN - Local pool leagues will hold organizational meetings this month. Schedule follows:
Iron Mountain Women's - Tuesday, Aug. 14; 6:30 p.m.; C&R Bar, Aurora.
Wednesday Night Mixed - Wednesday, Aug. 15; 7 p.m., C&R Bar, Aurora.
Kingsford Men's Invitational - Monday, Aug. 27, 7 p.m., Bob's Country Bar.
Bowling:Hilltop meetings
NIAGARA, Wis. - Doug's Hilltop Lanes will hold organizational meetings next week - Tuesday women's, Aug. 14; Wednesday men's, Aug. 15, and Thursday women's, Aug. 16.
A new Monday men's league, with room for eight teams, meets Aug. 13. A new men's and women's scratch league, with room for eight teams, meets Aug. 17. Sunday mixed couples, still in need of teams, meets Aug. 12.
All meetings begin at 7 p.m. All team captains or representatives are urged to attend. Anyone interested in bowling should attend a meeting or call (715) 251-1700.
Mini golf:Aug. 21 start
FLORENCE, Wis. - Keyes Lake Mini Golf's fall session will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
The six-week league has room for 36 two-person teams. Cost is $70 per team, with sponsors available.
Registration forms are available from Leland Nelson at Keyes Lake Mini Golf; Filling Station, Dina Mia Restaurant and Subway in Florence, and Northern Lites on Hwy. 70.
