Marinette County Coroner George Smith advises that the driver of the vehicle from Thursday's fatality is identified as Cayla Lynn Graves, 21, of Marinette, Wis.
The five-year-old male passenger from her vehicle is in critical condition at a Green Bay hospital.
Investigation continues by the Marinette County Sheriff's Office and the coroner.
MARINETTE, Wis. - A Marinette woman was the victim of a fatal two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday in the town of Grover, Wis.
The crash took place at 9:48 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Kasal Lane.
Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve said that a 21-year-old Marinette woman was attempting to make a left turn from Kasal Lane onto U.S. 41 when she crossed into the path of a northbound pickup truck operated by Neal Seagren, 56, of Cedarburg, Wis.
The Marinette woman sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, said Sauve.
Sauve added that a passenger in the Marinette woman's vehicle, a five-year-old boy, was taken to a Green Bay, Wis. hospital for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
Seagren and his passenger, his wife Melissa, were treated and released from Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
The investigation into the accident is continuing. The name of the deceased woman is not being released at this time.
Assisting at the scene were the Peshtigo Police Department, Grover-Porterfield Fire Department, Emergency Rescue Squad, and Marinette County Coroner George Smith.
Sauve said that this accident is the eighth traffic fatality in Marinette County in 2012.
