Knights

NORWAY - Meet the Knights, a program where Norway High School's fall sports coaches will introduce their teams, starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug, 22.

The event will be held at Ronberg Field unless inclement weather.

Athletic code meeting for all incoming freshmen parents and athletes will preceed "Meet the Knights," starting at 6:30 p.m. in the middle school gym.

Season passes for Norway high school and middle school athletic events are now available in the high school office Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prices are the same as last year. Pocket schedules for the fall season are also available.

Activity fees can be paid in the high school office for athletics. The fee remains $40 and must be paid before the first athletic contest in the athlete's sport.

Flivvers

KINGSFORD - Kingsford Flivver Athletic Booster Club will host Meet the Flivvers on Thursday at Flivver Field.

The cookout will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the introduction of the athletes to start promptly at 6:15.

"All Flivver fans are encouraged to come out and meet the athletes," said Kingsford athletic director Al Unger, noting the program will moved to the middle school gym for inclement weather.

A fund drive with Flivver athletes going door-to-door for donations will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22. Drivers are needed, with those interested asked to call the high school office for details.
