EDITOR:I would like to applaud the persons responsible for the beautiful planters of flowers in the downtown area. They enhance the area as they are so colorful and healthy and well taken care of. I admire these each time I drive through downtown - along with the flowers along Chapin Pit and other areas in town.
Now if we could get some of the businesses on Stephenson and other streets to clean up their property. It detracts from the whole area when you have the overgrown and weed filled properties along the same streets that have the amazing planters of flowers.
I applaud these "flower" elves for helping beautify our town.
