Third title for Cootware

Iron Mountain teen eyes Baderlaro Nationals

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Cory Cootware of Iron Mountain was recently named the 2012 Rockford Speedway "Fendered Division Champion."

With his third championship under his belt at the famed speedway, Cootware, 14, now sets his sights on a national championship event to be held at Grand Bay, Alabama, on Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the Banderlaro Nationals.

"I feel ending the season by racing in this event will show me how I measure up with many of the nation's best drivers," Cootware said.
