EDITOR:My great great-grandson, Conner, attended a very educational kindergarten summer science camp at the Willis Center in Kingsford and then on to the Woodland Elementary Schools summer food program for a delicious and nutritional meal consisting of a main course or choice of sandwiches or fruit salad and veggie bar and whole wheat buns with butter and choice of white or chocolate milk.
No junk food.
Children eat free and adults $2.75. What a deal. Hats off to the entire staff for their friendly courteous and helpful service and great social atmosphere. Hope to see you next summer when Conner will be in first grade.
