FLORENCE, Wis. - The junior varsity football game scheduled between Florence and North Dickinson for Thursday, Aug. 23, has been cancelled, with Florence citing a lack of available players.
North Dickinson will instead travel to face the Norway jayvee squad Thursday at 6 p.m.
Florence plans to begin its junior varsity season Monday, Aug. 27, with a home game against Crivitz at 5:30 p.m..
