IRON MOUNTAIN - Letters are being delivered to property owners who may be affected by American Transmission Co.'s proposed Bay Lake Project, which calls for new electric transmission lines and substations in the Upper Peninsula and northeastern Wisconsin.
American Transmission Co. (ATC) announced Monday that it is on schedule to present preliminary routes for three of its four Bay Lake Project study areas. However, plans are on hold for work in a fourth project area in Dickinson and Marquette counties (Quinnesec to Ishpeming).
A new line from Oconto Falls, Wis., to Quinnesec remains on the docket, but has been pushed to a later in-service date.
