FENCE, Wis. - Beverly J. Suardini, 86, of Fence, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander, Wis.
She was born June 16, 1926, in Harbor Beach, Mich., daughter of the late George and Mildred (Muter) Pochert. Beverly grew up in Port Hope, Mich. and at the age of seven moved to Ralph, where she attended school. She graduated from Felch High School in 1944.
Beverly married Frank Suardini Jr., on Dec. 10, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wis. They made their home in Milwaukee for 44 years before moving to Fence in 1992. Beverly's life was centered around her family and friends and occasionally enjoyed a trip to the casino with them.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Jr.; one son, Frank (Debbie) Suardini III. of West Bend, Wis.; one daughter, Karen (John) Matysik of Russell, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jason Matysik, Nicole Matysik and Stacey Adams; three great-grandchildren, Delanie, Mariah and Jayden; one brother-in-law, David Haferkorn of Pewaukee, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by four sisters, Georgina Terranova, Wanda Jacobson, Joan Bresser and Karen Haferkorn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
Funeral services will he held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Lehmann will officiate.
Entombment will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
