MARQUETTE - A 51-year-old Ishpeming man was killed Saturday in an off-road vehicle crash in Marquette County's Champion Township.
According to the Marquette County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at 5:25 p.m. on the Clear Lake access road.
The victim has been identified as Michael S. Argall.
Argall was traveling around a curve that went downhill when he lost control, deputies said. The four-wheeler struck a tree on the shoulder of the road.
Argall was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assisting were Bell Memorial EMS and Michigamme-Spurr Township First Responders.
The crash remains under investigation.
