The Dickinson County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 tonight in the circuit courtroom of the courthouse.
The agenda includes advertising a vacancy on the Department of Human Services board.
The Dickinson County Road Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the commission offices, 1107 South Milwaukee Ave., Iron Mountain.
The road commission agenda includes a policy for signs in county right-of-ways.
The Iron Mountain School District Board of Education will meet today at 6 p.m. in the board room of the administration building.
Action items include approval of the roofing bid, acceptance of three resignations, approval for 12 hirings, approval of the consortium agreement, and school handbooks.
The Breitung Township Schools Board of Education will be meeting today at 7 p.m. in the board room, 2000 Pyle Drive in Kingsford.
New business on the agenda includes a music department trip to Florida, Schedule B recommendations to hire, approval of agenda books for Kingsford High School and Kingsford Middle School and the student-parent handbook at Woodland Elementary School.
The Norway-Vulcan Area Schools Board of Education will meet today at 6:30 p.m. at the school.
A letter of resignation from Nicole Anderson is listed under board correspondence.
Action and discussion items on the agenda include a report on the middle and high school, elementary report, approval to hire Michelle Larsen as the financial manager, hiring Courtney Lemire as a part-time Title I aide and approval of the social worker contract for Susie Neuens.
The North Dickinson School Board of Education will meet today at 7 p.m. in the high school library.
Business items include hiring a Title I aide, approval of an updated evaluation tool, surplus bus, and a closed session for purpose of attorney-client privileged information.
The Breitung Township Board will meet today at 7 p.m. in the township offices in Quinnesec.
Under old business, the board will consider the treasurer agreement and master plan update.
New business includes setting the millage rate, suspending benefits for the treasurer, reduction of hours for the treasurer's deputy position, request for the Governor to declare the treasurer's office vacant and to appoint a replacement, and assessor request.
The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District Board of Education will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Conference Room A, 1074 Pyle Drive in Kingsford.
A presentation will be given by Casey McCormick, director of early childhood education, on an overview of the department.
The board will also ratify and approve an employee resignation in special education.
