IRON MOUNTAIN - Iron Mountain, in a match with three three-set decisions and two more involving tiebreaks, downed Marquette 7-1 in high school girls tennis Monday at Amos Marston Eastside Courts.

"This was a lot closer match than what a 7-1 score looks like," Mountaineer coach Greg Stegall said. "The girls are performing under pressure and looking at the close scores that's what they're doing."

Redettes' point resulted at No. 1 singles with Maddie Gardiner spilling Laurie March 6-4, 6-1.
