CRYSTAL FALLS - Robert E. Schmidt, 80, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Crystal Falls. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls, with military rites accorded by the East Side Veterans Council.
Pallbearers will include, Gary, Ernie, George, Larry, Joe, and Matt Schmidt.
