MARINETTE, Wis. - A Wausaukee woman has been charged with four felony counts alleging that she embezzled money from the Wausaukee Rescue Squad.

Amanda R. Stumbris, 41, faces three felony counts of theft in a business setting-more than $10,000 and one felony count of theft in a business setting-between $5,000 and $10,000.

If convicted on all counts, she could spend up to 36 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, Stumbris was serving as the treasurer of the Wausaukee Rescue Squad when she allegedly used the squad's ATM card for her own personal expenses. An initial appearance in Marinette County Court has been scheduled for Sept. 17.
