KINGSFORD - Unbeaten Kingsford adjusted the lineup and downed Escanaba 5-3 in high school tennis Thursday.
"This match was extremely close and a lot of fun," said Flivver coach Mark Shanks, noting four three-set matches.
Escanaba No. 1 singles Codi Jenshak subdued Sam Fleming for a third time this season, posting a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 decision.
Flivvers took the other three singles matches along with Nos. 2 and 4 doubles.
With one starter at Lambeau Field, Kingsford moved No. 4 singles Santina Bianco to No. 2 doubles with Janay Walters. Courtney Qualley got the call at No. 4 singles.
"Santina and Janay are both left-handed, and I thought they might give Escanaba some problems," Shanks said. "Both are finesse players with a real nice touch."
Kingsford (12-0-1), which tied Escanaba last month, hosts West Iron County on Tuesday.
