KINGSFORD - La Crosse Central's lethal option offense and Kingsford's missed opportunities added up to the Flivvers first loss of the season Friday at Flivver Field.
Aron Klos' 172 yards rushing and four touchdowns sparked the unbeaten Red Raiders past the Flivvers 36-14.
"We played a good football team," Kingsford Coach Chris Hofer said. "I thought we had plenty of chances to be right in the ballgame and we never took advantage of them."

Central quarterback Dan Callahan complemented Klos with 112 yards on the ground. Reed Larson led the Flivvers with 165 yards and two scores including a 57-yard scamper on the first series of the game.
"We struggled coming out of the gate but they gave us a wake up shot right away," Central Coach Tony Servais said. "Kingsford is a very good team and that Larson really runs hard. All of their kids run hard.
"I was pleased with how our offense came back right away. Then we had a couple turnovers but other than that we moved the ball pretty well. Our offense played pretty well through the rest of the game."
