NORWAY - Edward J. Nault, 90, of Norway, went to his Heavenly home Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Maryhill Manor in Niagara, Wis.
He was born on May 30, 1922, in Hibbing, Minn., the son of the late Clifford and Mary (Passino) Nault.
Ed graduated from Niagara High School in 1941 and served his country in the Army Air Force during World War II until November 1945 in the Pacific Theatre of Operations.
He was employed from 1945 to 1984 at Kimberly Clark as a lab technician.
Ed married Edith Eckstrom on November 28, 1946, in Niagara, Wis. and they shared 64 years together. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2011.
Ed is survived by his sons, Dan (Paula) Nault of Green Bay, Wis. and Tim (Denise) Nault of Norway; five grandchildren, Dana (Scott) Beining, Stacy (Ben) Baker, Alyson (Brian) Hess, Trista (Shane Spera) Steinbeck and Kris Nault; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Genevieve Newton; and his church family of the Norway Evangelical Covenant Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith; infant daughter, Susan; sister, Eva Smith; sister-in-law, Gerry Eckstrom; and brothers-in-law, Harold Smith, Clarence Newton and Robert Eckstrom.
Family will greet friends on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Norway.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at the church with Rev. James Danielson, presiding.
Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
