Last Saturday's country dinner and barn dance sponsored by the newly-formed Norway Area Preservation Society was a great event.
The upper level of the fairground's exposition building was magically transformed, the food abundant and delicious, the music by White Water beautiful, the drawing exciting, and the circle and line dancing absolutely delightful.
The multi-generational crowd remained lively and appreciative throughout the evening. It was a night of wholesome community fun.
If you missed it, make a note to watch for the advertising next fall, and plan to be there. To the hard-working organizing committee, many thanks for your dedication, and to the business partners who donated to the event, your support of N.A.P.S. and its goal to make our area a destination spot for visitors is a gift to all who live here.
Next year let's double the business sponsors and triple the attendance.
It's a win-win for the community .
