FLORENCE, Wis. - Florence's furious second-half rally fell short as the Bobcats dropped a 50-32 decision to Laona-Wabeno in Northern Lakes Conference football Friday.

Trailing 30-14 at halftime, Florence fumbled going in for the go-ahead score in the third quarter. Laona-Wabeno claimed a 14-0 scoring advantage in the fourth.

"We just didn't play like the better team," said Bobcats coach Dan Robinson.
