NHL lockout ices Spike; Ironwood lost at WIC

The National Hockey League lockout also hit home in the area.

CCHA official Ryan (Spike) Gordon, Oak Crest Golf Course pro during the summer, normally works the Detroit Red Wings training camp in Traverse City.

"I am disappointed about the lockout because I like to use the Red Wings training camp to get ready for my college assignments," Gordon said.
