NIAGARA, Wis. - Regina L. Waldbillig, 85, of West Bend, Wis., formerly of Niagara, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1926, in Fredonia, Wis., daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Wiskerchen) Heimerl. Regina grew up in Fredonia where she attended and graduated school. She also attended the Sisters of Notre Dame in Milwaukee, Wis. Regina then moved to South Dakota where she taught Native American children in the area.
She married Ted Waldbillig, and he preceded her in death in 1976.
Regina lived in Niagara until 1999, at which time, due to her health, she moved into a nursingfacility in Madison, Wis., for a year and then to West Bend to Samaritan Health Center, where she resided to be closer to her nephew.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Rev. Matt Settles will officiate.
Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
