Roberge said the hitting of Sammy Zander, Annika Erickson and Emily Murdock stood out.

"The serving was excellent all day," said Roberge, noting Sammy Lindeman and Maria Wiltzius served 100 percent.

"Nikki Roberge was awesome all day setting," Roberge said of the team's lone freshman. "Sierra Fayas, besides singing the national anthem by herself to start the day, was the passer of the day with pinpoint passing."
