Steven Belaire

IRON MOUNTAIN - Steven Belaire, 52, of Superior, Wis., formerly of Iron Mountain, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, unexpectedly in his home.

He was born on July 27, 1960, in Kingsford, to Raymond and Nancy (Peterson) Belaire.

Steve graduated from Kingsford High School and he served his country in the United States Navy.

He was employed as a truck driver for Kivi Trucking. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Green Bay Packers.

Steve is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Kenny Lessor) Belaire and Allison Belaire, both of Norway; one son, Jon Belaire, of Norway; his parents, Raymond and Nancy Belaire of Iron Mountain; two grandchildren, MacKenzie and Tristan; one brother, Edward (Kathy) Belaire of Pulaski, Wis.; the love of his life and fiance Pamela Gidley and her daughters, Christine Gidley and Cassandra Gidley, all of Superior, Wis., and his little pug "Lucy."

He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra (Gayan) Belaire.

There will be a private family service in Michigan.

There are no public services being planned in Superior at this time.

The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
