I have talked to many Christians and non Christians that have blamed God for their personal problems, and that of the world's. Reproving that God is not a God of fairness or love.
Many people in the world today expect God to come to their rescue that was the result of a self inflected wound that goes back to the time of Adam and Eve, called "sin." As a result of this sin in our lives we now point the finger and blame to the creator.
The blame; if God is such a loving God, why is there abortion, why is there such suffering in the world, why are my finances in havoc, why do I have cancer, why is there such hunger in the world, why, why, why, if there is a God why does he permit this? And finally, if God is all loving, why doesn't fix all things?
I'm with great expectations that this article will bring hope to you, and change your ideas about what is expected from you as a person. In addition to that, you will see God's point of view about our sin, and how you and I can stop blaming God for our mistakes.
The answer to these questions can be found in Genius, Job, Jeremiah, Romans, John, to mention a few of the many examples of a fallen man.
The fall of mankind beginning is the book of Genesis.
In Genesis, God creates a garden of unparalleled beauty that one can only marvel at the magnificent of such a creation. When God created the Garden of Eden everything was perfect and in place, Why? Because God is perfect and he does not make mistakes. He looked at the garden and was pleased.
But something was missing, something that had to be added to complete this magnificent, and that was the creation of mankind.
And God took the man, (Adam) and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. When Adam was created he became lonely. God in his marvel created emotion one can only imagine the loneliness in Adam. God knew what Adam was going through and created woman. She was called woman because she was taken out of man.
And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for God had not caused it to rain upon the earth: and there was not a man to till the ground.
And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.
And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat.
And Jehovah God said unto the woman, what is this thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Two of God's creation made the wrong choice, and sin entered into the world that day.
And the man called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
And God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
And you have done evil more than your fathers; for, behold, you walk every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you hearken not unto me.
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but to do that which is good is not.
1 John 5:17
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
1 Timothy 2:13
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1 Corinthians 11:9
For neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
God allows us to make free choices. Many of the choices we make today are not from a Biblical point of view, but are the result of self. Another words, me, myself and I have a lot to say before confronting the word of God for guidance.
Let's talk about choices, and how the wrong choice can be devastating.
Adam now has a wife. God spoke to Adam and Eve and said, all of thy fruit you may eat, but of this tree.
Adam and Eve were given a choice to choose the fruit of knowledge or not. Their decision has now been cast into every generation from that point on.
Sin has now entered into the world.
Their eyes now open, Adam and Eve run from God and hide. In there sin they see shame in their nakedness.
Mankind is a fallen race, but all is not lost. God has given us rules to live by (The Ten Commandments). He has also given us the right to choose, the consequent of wrong decisions can be devastating (overwhelming) to the individual.
God is always there to forgive. He teaches us from our mistakes because he cares (loves). Like a loving father he disciplines his children and sets them on the path of righteousness.
1 John 9 -10
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Let's take conscientiousness of our own mistakes and stop blaming God for the world's problem. Sin is in our lives daily, but God is greater than our sin and he forgives us of our sin, please note; I said our sin, not God's.
Stop blaming God for your personal problems and that of the worlds, and get the sin out of our lives. Allow God to do his will on you, and watch the blessings pour into your life as God transforms you into a new creator, for his glory, his will, and his love for you. Amen
