Unprofessional outburst

October 11, 2012
The Daily News

EDITOR

This is the response to the unprofessional outburst by Dickinson County Board Commissioner John Degenaer Jr. during the Commissioners' Personal Privilege at the Dickinson County Board of Commissioners regular board meeting on Sept. 24, 2012.

After receiving a copy of a formal complaint to Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette submitted by Gerald McCole, Dickinson County citizen and taxpayer, Commissioner Degenaer Jr. did imply that the proven facts submitted were not truthful and Gerald McCole was being ludicrous, which means ridiculous, provoking laughter, and droll, which means laughable, funny, queer, a buffoon, a jester, an odd character and an amusing rascal.

I may be some or all of the above but it is not the place of a public elected county commissioner to make these accusations in public without proof.

The Daily News does not print anything against these commissioners so I am sending these e-mails to Senator Casperson and Representative McBroom with letter copies to U.S. Representative Benishek, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and Iron, Menominee, and Delta County Boards.

I stand by my proven formal complaints that Michigan Compiled Laws have been and are being violated.

Gerald McCole
