KINGSFORD - Jack T. Sexton, 76, of Kingsford, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at his home.
He was born on March 9, 1936, in Randville, the son of the late Cloyd and Annie (Presley) Sexton.
Jack served in the U.S. Navy for six years and then transferred to the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 14 years.
Jack was a radioman class A, and had worked for the secret service at the Pentagon and in Omaha, Neb.
He is survived by three children, Mary Beth, Jackie, and Steven; three brothers, Harold (Judy) Sexton of Randville, Roy (Connie) Sexton of Chandler, Ariz., and Earl (Bonnie) Sexton of Kingsford; two sisters, Sylvia (Thomas) Piche of Niagara, and Dorothy Miller of Aurora, Wis.; a special friend, Elorine Strom of Kingsford; many granchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim, Samuel, Cloyd "Ed," and Calvin Sexton; and three sisters, Ruth Bates, Helen Sexton, and Barbara Sexton.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Channing Cemetery. Bob Pollock will officiate.
Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Cuculi-Baraga American Legion Post 168 of Channing.
