EDITOR:
The person or persons who are removing political signs from other people's private property are not only committing a misdemeanor crime subject to a penalty of up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine (Daily News, Monday, Oct. 8, 2012), they are violating the freedom of speech and expression guaranteed to everyone by our constitution.
You may not be apprehended for your crime, but you will be judged by your creator (You shall not steal). Please return the signs to the property from which they were removed. No questions asked.
