EDITOR:
In regards to Social Security and Medicare; the first and only time since the inception of Social Security by FDR that senior citizens did not receive a COLA, (cost of living increase) was the last two years under the Obama Administration.
As for Medicare, the non-partisan CBO has admitted this year that Medicare will be bankrupt within nine years, if nothing is done.
It's why Pete Hoekstra and others want to find real solutions.
