GREENVILLE, SC - Northland International University of Dunbar, Wis., has received an at-large bid to the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association men's soccer tournament in Kissimmee, Fla.
Second-seeded Northland (14-4-1) and Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College (7-12-1) will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.
NIU placed second in last weekend's regional tournament.
The Pioneers dominated Lincoln 19-0 in the quarterfinal matchup. This strong performance was followed by a semifinal win over Maranatha, 6-1. Junior Josh Conover and sophomore Darrell Goff each notched two goals in the victory.
However, illness and injury left the Pioneers lacking four starters by the second half of the championship game against top-seeded Moody Bible Institute. NIU dropped that contest 5-0.
