VULCAN - Wendy J. (Rochon) Dudenas of Vulcan, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, Wis.
She was the daughter of the late Eldon and Linda Rochon and first took glimpse of the world on July 29, 1969, in Norway. Wendy married her high school sweetheart David A. Dudenas on Oct. 14, 1995, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Norway, and the two of them enjoyed 17 years of marriage in perfect harmony.
Family always came first for Wendy. She spent many of her days caring for her ailing mother, talking with family members, and providing the support that keeps a family together. When the holiday seasons came around, she knew exactly how to sooth the family's taste bids. She was a proud mother and frequently referred to her son as a fine and responsible young adult.
She also loved and cherished the company of her in-laws, many nieces and nephews, especially her two great-nephews, Dominic and Jaxson, who always managed to keep her in high spirits.
She is survived by her husband, David Dudenas; son, Kyle Dudenas; sister, Connie Winkler; brother, Eldon Rochon Jr.; nephew, Ben Gendron; niece, Alicia Rochon; great-nephew, Dominic Rochon; and the latest great-nephew to the family, Jaxson Gendron.
Wendy was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Amanda Peterson.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the American Legion - located at 621 Main St. in Norway - from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
