KINGSFORD - Clare will face Kingsford or Menominee for a Division 5 football regional title next week.
In a Division 5 district championship Friday, Clare downed Standish-Sterling 29-24. The Pioneers (9-2) take on the winner of today's district final in Menominee pitting the Flivvers (9-1) and Maroons (9-1).
In another Division 5 district final Friday, Portland, coached by Iron Mountain's John Novara, blanked Olivet 36-0.
