GWINN - A 21-year-old Marquette man was arrested on Tuesday by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) on possession of meth component charges.
While conducting surveillance, a suspected meth lab cook was observed to be purchasing known meth components.
A traffic stop was conducted by the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post, resulting in the arrest.
The subject is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
Investigation is ongoing and has been turned over to the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office for evaluation.
If convicted, the subject faces a possible 10-year felony.
