IRON MOUNTAIN - An Iron Mountain man arrested on a "dangerous drugs" warrant out of Appleton, Wis. faces a sex registry violation.
According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Web Access, Robert J. Krupinski, 65, is charged with sex registry violation and bail jumping.
An arraignment date on the felony sex registry violation has been set for Nov. 29 at 2:30 p.m.
A preliminary hearing on the felony bail jumping charge is set for Nov. 29 at 11 a.m.
Krupinski also faces once count of felony manufacture/delivery of THC less than 200 grams and misdemeanor possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Filed on Aug. 17, a preliminary hearing is set for Monday, Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. on those charges.
He is being represented by the state public defenders office.
Krupinski was arrested at the end of October after Iron Mountain Police received information that he was wanted for bail jumping in reference to a "dangerous drugs" warrant. Police later learned he moved to Iron Mountain and failed to register as a sex offender.
It was also learned that he was residing within 1,000 feet of a school property, which is a violation of sex offender registration regulations.
Krupinski was held at the Dickinson County Jail until Appleton Police were able to pick him up.
He remains lodged in the Outagamie County Jail.
