WAKEFIELD - A 65-year-old Ewen man was arrested for felonious assault after police were called to his residence for a domestic disturbance.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Wakefield Post were dispatched to a domestic disturbance complaint in Ewen, McMillan Township in Ontonagon County on Monday at about 3:10 p.m.
Police said a 65-year-old male from Ewen was arrested on felonious assault and domestic violence charges after pointing a handgun at his wife during the domestic disturbance.

A shotgun, two rifles and a handgun were seized during the investigation.
The man was lodged at the Ontonagon County Jail.
Bond was set by the 98th District Court Magistrate at $50,000 cash for charge one and $5,000 at 10 percent for the second charge.
