The Iron Mountain City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council room of the city hall building, 501 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.
A special presentation will be given for a resolution of recognition to firefighter Capt. Jared Cudnohufsky. A public hearing is also planned on an ordinance addressing Floodplain Management provisions followed by approval of the ordinance under old business.
New business on the agenda includes a lease agreement for the Sewer Creek right-of-way for Scott Trempe, resolutions concerning vegetation at five residences, and discussion of the tree planting program.
The Kingsford City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m .in the council room, which is located upstairs of the city hall building, 305 S. Carpenter Ave. in Kingsford.
Old business includes introduction of Ordinance 273 to address Floodplain Management provision of the state construction code.
Under new business, the council will consider a draft lease agreement renewal for 1160 S. Carpenter Ave., application for the Planning Commission, proposed resolution regarding delinquent water and sewer bills, and ballot for the Dickinson Area Partnership's Chamber of Commerce.
The Florence County School District Board of Education will be held today at 6 p.m. in Room 215 of the high school.
Facilities use request for Florence youth wrestling will be considered under new business.
A closed session to discuss personnel and staffing/contracts compensation will also be held.
The Norway City Council will meet today at 7 p.m. in the council room of the city hall building, 915 Main St. in Norway.
The agenda includes approval of the Dickinson Area Partnership annual dues, and a resolution to vacate a right-of-way in Wendell's First Addition.
A closed session is also planned to discuss union collective bargaining.
