RHINELANDER, Wis. - Kingsford, one of the smaller teams participating in the Hodag Relays, finished in a tie for fifth place here Saturday.
"There were a lot of talented teams with some very fast swimmers at the meet," Flivvers coach Keith Freeman said. "I was impressed at how well our swimmers competed and the sportsmanship that they portrayed at the meet."
The Flivvers top finish at the meet was fourth, but Kingsford had no 10th-place showings.

Green Bay United won the meet. Other participating schools in this boys only meet were D.C. Everest, Rice Lake, Superior, Lakeland Union, Marshfield, Shawano, Tomahawk and Rhinelander.
The Flivvers hold their first home meet Tuesday against Ishpeming/Negaunee.
