MARQUETTE - The National Weather Service at Marquette has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 6 a.m. Thursday until midnight Thursday night.
Heavy, wet snow will move into Dickinson County just before sunrise Thursday morning, officials said. The snow will be heavy at times during the day on Thursday.
Expect storm total snowfall of 6 to 10 inches with the greatest amounts east of a line from Iron Mountain to Ralph.
Winds out of the north could gust up to 30 mph late Thursday afternoon and Thursday night, resulting in areas of blowing snow, officials said.
