MENOMINEE - Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks and Emergency Management Coordinator Trina Rabida have declared a Snow Emergency effective immediately and continuing until weather conditions have improved.
People should avoid traveling, officials said.
If you must travel, use caution, keep your gas tank full and let someone know the route you will be taking, they said.
Beware of any downed power lines, trees or other obstacles.
While clearing snow, take frequent breaks and avoid over exertion.
