ISHPEMING - Iron Mountain Gold took down Escanaba 33-7 in girls high school bowling.
The teams split the Baker games but the Gold won total pins to take a 6-4 lead into the three-game match.
Tori Boersma took three points with games of 166-149-157. Makenna Steinbeckalso nabbed three points for the Mountaineers. Jade Driscoll, Rachel VanKlompenburg and Megan Balkum each tallied two points.
Iron Mountain returns to Ishpeming Saturday with the Gold taking on Menominee. Iron Mountain Black battles L'Anse, and Iron Mountain Blue faces Westwood.
