FRANKLIN, Wis. - Kenneth Robert Eyers, 81, of Franklin, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, after a battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Iron Mountain to Charles and Mary Eyers. On May 12, 1951, he married Doris Plante, and together they moved to start their life together in Milwaukee.
Kenneth retired from Harnischfeger after 38 years as a parts manager. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
Kenneth and Doris had five children, Michael Eyers, Cynthia Schuerman, Diana (Jay) Pintar, Mary Schramm, and Karen (Tom) Eder; six grandchildren, Brian (Patrice) Eyers, Jennifer Hart, Nicole Schramm, Justin Schramm, Brittany Pintar, and Brandon Pintar; and seven great-grandchildren, Shane, Rebecca, Andruw, D'Marko, Brenna, Morgan, and Haley. Kenneth had two brothers, Calvin (Joyce), and Donald (Pat), both of Iron Mountain; three sisters, Eloise "Pinky" Larsen, the late LaVerne Mongrain, and the late Ila Joy DeWinter; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home on Saturday from10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
