Ann Broullire

VULCAN - Ann "Dolly" Broullire, formerly Ann Cazzola, 80, of Vulcan, was taken home by the Lord's gentle embrace on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford.

She was born on April 21, 1932, in Vulcan, the daughter of the late John and Doris (Anderson) Bubloni.

Grandpa John was a miner at the Vulcan Mine and Grandma stayed home to keep the fires burning.

Dolly finished the eighth grade and helped support the family at LeMires in the kitchen.

She met Raymond "Red" Cazzola through Raymond's sister, Bruna, and they eventually got married. Although they parted, Raymond and Ann remained together throughout life.

Ann married Richard "Dick" Anderson, he went to be with the Lord and Ann married Marvin Broullire, when cancer sent him to the Lord, "Red" and Dolly found each other again until the Lord took "Red."

Dolly held various jobs at the sewing factory in Norway, the Norway Vulcan Senior Center, and bartending at various establishments. She played basketball with the Vulcan Women's team and bowled on various tavern leagues.

She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan.

Dolly is survived by her children, Gerald (Patti) Cazzola, Christine "Cookie" (Robert Bjorkman) Cazzola, Tony Cazzola, and Dorothy (Tracy) Anderson-Engles; brothers, Arthur (Rose) Bubloni and Marion Bubloni; grandchildren, Nikki (Joe) Upton, Trinity Cazzola, Robyn (Kevin Tichlear) Cazzola, Marissa, Amber (Ryan) Dwight, Edward (Tiffany) Mierzejewski, Thomas (Ashley) Humblet, Misty Cazzola, Marissa Stevenson, Anthony Cazzola, Tiffany, Melvin and Hugh Engles; 13 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nephews and nieces; daughters-in-law, "Rocky" Cazzola, Sandy Thompson, Joan Fayas and Char Loomis.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roger; granddaughter, Shannon; and brother, John "Sonny" Bubloni.

Dolly was the life of any party and believed in good times with good friends. In her later years she enjoyed her coffee, watching TV and eating snacks.

Her family would like to thank long-time friends Ann Cretton and Debi Dzic for the great home health care the past few years, Gail from UPCAP and staff, Paula from Guardian Angels and staff, Dr. Schroeder and staff, DCHS and staff, Norway and Beacon Ambulance drivers, Pinecrest's Robyn (who is also her granddaughter) and staff, St. Barbara Parish, her children and grandchildren, and especially to Manor Care's Molly, Thomas (also her grandson), and the staff who made her comfortable and safe, also to grandchildren Ashley, Nikki, and Joe.

Family will greet friends on Thursday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at the church with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis presiding.

Interment will be held at Norway Township Cemetery in the spring.

Arrangements announced by the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.
