FLORENCE, Wis. - An Iron Mountain woman accused of attempting to run down two women with her vehicle in Aurora, Wis. made her initial appearance in Florence County Court on Tuesday.

Valerie M. Edwards, 24, will return to court on Feb. 12 for a preliminary examination.
She is currently free on a $800 cash bond.
Edwards faces two felony counts of recklessly endangering safety-second degree, one misdemeanor count of battery, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, two women claimed that they were talking to a man at an Aurora bar in the early morning hours of New Year's Day when Edwards attacked one of them.
The women stated that when they left the bar, Edwards came after them in a vehicle and almost hit them.
