A subject had called in the bomb threat and also pulled a fire alarm shortly after 1 a.m., causing the evacuation of guests and employees at the motel, troopers said.
A male subject was taken into protective custody and transported to Marquette General Hospital for evaluation. His name was not being released at this time.
