WAUSAUKEE, Wis. - Niagara held Wausaukee to 11 second-half points and captured a WIAA Division 5 boys basketball regional championship Saturday night with a 49-31 decision.
Junior Zach Walker came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points and Jordan Zawada chipped in 11.
Coach Jim Hoogland's Badgers (18-7) and Almond-Bancroft, a 48-44 overtime winner against Northland Lutheran in another regional final, will clash at 7 p.m. Thursday at Antigo in a sectional semifinal.
