IRON MOUNTAIN Florence's Cole Dollar avenged a sectional loss to place third Saturday in the WIAA Division 3 individual state wrestling tournament at Madison.
Dollar pinned Coleman's Dexter Karban in the second period (3:47) Saturday to wind up third at 160 pounds. Karban had pinned Dollar in the sectional finals.
Dollar posted a 4-1 record in the state tourney, registering two pins and a tech fall. The senior bumped his school-record career win total to 138 and season ledger to 39-5. Dollar broke the 2002 school win mark set by Danny Robinson (128).

Top-seeded Hudson tied Davison (2002-06) for the longest streak since the Team Finals began in 1988.
"We're not guaranteeing state title after state title. But were coming back next year, and we're going to be battling again next year," Hudson Coach Scott Marry said.
MHSAA state individual tourney runs Thursday through Saturday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Iron Mountain will be represented by sophomores Jared Gauthier (40-2) and Alex Edwards (37-4), both at 119. Norway will send three wrestlers - senior Cayleb Winkler, 29-13 at 125; sophomore Taylor Bonetti, 37-16 at 152, and sophomore Jacob Rehn, 30-13 at 171.
