IRON MOUNTAIN - Dickinson Amateur Hockey Association's Hall Orthodontics will return to the Bantam state tournament.
Hall successfully defended its MAHA District 8 title with a 4-0 record in the district tournament which included nine teams from across the Upper Peninsula.
Halls dispatched Marquette 6-3 to open the tournament and clinched a berth in the semis with a 3-1 victory over Ontonagon/Keweenaw Bay.

Halls defeated Newberry 8-3 to advance to the championship game. Ontonagon/Keweenaw Bay earned the rematch against Halls with a dramatic 6-5 overtime victory over Negaunee.
Halls posted a 7-0 win in the championship game to earn a second consecutive trip to the state tournament in Big Rapids. Games take place Friday through Sunday, with the opener at 7 p.m. (Central time).
Six members - Alek Shanks, Jordan Wadge, Jake Gendron, Alex St. Aubin, Spike Healy and Jason Hart - return from last year's Bantam team.
"The rest of the team brings championship experience to the table as well," a team spokesman said. "The newcomers were all members of the 41 Lumber squad that earned a state title as PeeWees last season."
They are Trent Juul, C. J. Dantes, Tommy Hulce, Pete Ropiak, Austin Van Pembrook, Brandon Spindlow, Tysen Wadge and Darren Wood.
