WAKEFIELD - Michigan State Police Troopers from the Wakefield Post have arrested two suspects on criminal sexual conduct charges after a complaint at Ewen-Trout Creek Schools, police reported.
Troopers from the Wakefield Post and the Ewen Detachment were asked by Ewen-Trout Creek Schools personnel on Friday, March 15, to investigate a reported incident of criminal sexual conduct on school grounds.
The investigation led to the discovery of two separate incidents of criminal sexual conduct involving two suspects and one victim, all students at Ewen-Trout Creek Schools.
Arrest warrants were authorized for both suspects. Troopers arrested both suspects on Monday.
The suspects are charged with criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree, which carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison, police said.
The names of the suspects are being withheld pending arraignment.
