AURORA, Wis. - John J. Pagac Jr., 62, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
He was born July 11, 1950, in Milwaukee, son of the late John J. and Beatrice (Pokorny) Pagac Sr.
John grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee. While living in Milwaukee, he worked at Singer Machine Company for 15 years.
He then took a position with the U.S. Postal Service and worked as a letter sorter in Milwaukee for 12 years before transferring to the Kingsford Branch. He retired in 2011.
John enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his family and many friends.
He is survived by one son, Andrew (Haley) Pagac of Hartland; one step-son, Jeff Volrath of California; one step-daughter, Amy Ebert of Milwaukee; one brother, Robert (Linda) Pagac of Milwaukee; one granddaughter, Karissa; one nephew, Steven; and one niece, Jennifer (Tim) Klug.
