Kingsford grad lands front row seat with Michigan's Maize Rage

Kingsford grad and student cheer member Maegan Mathew sat front row for Michigan's NCAA Final Four tournament basketball games in Atlanta.

"It was an unfortunate outcome," Mathew said after Monday's championship game loss to Louisville. "But myself, like the rest of the Maize Rage, isn't upset because we weren't even supposed to make it that far.

"It's a great time in Michigan basketball. We still shocked the world."

Trey Burke's first-half foul trouble, soft play inside, questionable coaching moves and a couple bad calls hurt Michigan. If the Wolverine stars return next season, look for another title run ...
